Auburn Alumni Hall of Distinction

The Auburn Alumni Hall of Distinction was established to recognize, honor, and celebrate graduates who have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic, professional, personal, and/or civic achievements and to inspire current students to pursue a path towards personal success. The Alumni Committee, comprised of both board members and community members, selected the current inductees from submitted nominations.

Class of 2017

Richard & Dorothy Dickman, Class of 1951, third generation owners of the long-established family business, Dickman Farms, and business leaders

Dr. Robert Vince, Class of 1958, Professor and Director of the Center for Drug Design at University of Minnesota and inventor of the HIV drug, Ziagen

Anthony Gucciardi, Class of 1959, educator, coach and administrator for Auburn Schools and community leader

William Fulton, Class of 1973, Director of Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research and widely recognized national expert on urban planning

Christopher Prentice, Class of 1988, Chief Executive Officer of Mazor Robotics, Inc., a company that specializes in the development and marketing of innovative surgical guidance systems

The accomplishments of this year’s class certainly highlight what an Auburn education can do for its graduates!
